Every spring the Loveland Youth Soccer Association offers $1000 scholarships to two Loveland area graduating high school seniors, one male and one female, who played, refereed and/or volunteered for Loveland Youth Soccer Association. Applicants must have participated in LYSA and live in Loveland community.  They do not have to attend Loveland High School.  Applicant must be enrolled in a college/university/school for the 2026 fall semester for the purpose of continuing his/her education.

The application must include:

• Information about your playing and/or refereeing experience with LYSA.

• An essay that describes how being a part of Loveland Youth Soccer, as a player and/or a referee, has positively influenced your life (250 to 500 words)

• How you plan to use the scholarship money to help further your education​.

Please note that the Selection Committee does consider the quality and grammar of the written responses when making its selections.  Applicants are expected to write the essay and not rely solely on AI generated responses.

Timeline 

The scholarship application must be completed and submitted to LYSA by March 1, 2026.

Selected applicants will be notified by April 1, 2026.
